What inspired you to start your business?

When I became serious about a digital fashion career, I started researching industry leaders to look up to. Besides Man Repeller and a few others, most mainstream bloggers with huge followings didn't have the substance I was looking for. I started The Fluf to have the meaningful, intellectual conversations behind the beauty found in fashion, pop culture, and other stereotypically superficial subjects. The heart of The Fluf is experimentation and conversation.

What sets your business apart from others? In other words, what challenges/gaps are you addressing? 

Finding meaning in travel, culture, and style, The Fluf delves deeper than the surface. We break the stereotype that an interest in beautiful things is a superficial quality. We argue that the cerebral sides of fashion and society are more important than the simply visual. Our voice is atypical. Conversational. Subversive. Self-aware. Lighthearted, yet substantial. We don’t take much seriously besides freedom of expression.
